Overview

This qualification provides learners with the fundamental skills and knowledge required for a career in electrical installation. It supports entry into the industry and offers a pathway toward an apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

Learners must be at least 16 years old. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, learners must have the potential to achieve all aspects of the qualification. In particular, learners should be able to demonstrate that they have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy required for the completion of the learning outcomes and the assessments.

How will it be assessed?

The qualification is assessed by a mixture of on-screen exams, written
assignments, and practical assessments. The qualification is not graded
and the learner may only achieve a pass.
